Partnership
for Prevention/ActionToQuit will co-sponsor an educational webinar on December
14 with the University of Wisconsin's Center for Tobacco Research &
Intervention and the Multi-State Collaborative for Health System Change. The
program will be entitled, "Meaningful Use and Tobacco Cessation: What You
Need to Know" and it will run from 12:00 noon to 1:15pm Eastern time.
The
featured presenters will be Farzad Mostashari, MD, Director of the Office of
the National Coordinator of Health Information Technology, and Michael Fiore,
MD, Director, University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health
Center for Tobacco Research and Intervention. The program will explain what
Meaningful Use is, how tobacco use assessment and cessation treatment relate to
it, and how the public comment process can make a difference. You can register HERE. All interested
