Thank you to all NAQC members for your ongoing commitment to NAQC and for advancing the quitline community!
NAQC’s Membership Renewal Process has begun today for the new fiscal year (beginning on July 1). For your convenience, we will be sending renewal invoices to all individual members and organizational contacts by February 22.There is no need to re-apply for membership.You can now renew your membership online using a credit card by clicking the "membership info” link under your member profile and then clicking on "securely renew your membership now” link. Membership dues can be paid with a check, a major credit card (Visa, MC, AMEX), or an online transfer. To set-up the transfer method, please contact Natalia Gromov at firstname.lastname@example.org 800-398-5489 ext. 701.

Important Membership Information for FY14!
Your membership dues allow us to address important policy changes and be flexible in taking on new initiatives that respond to your needs. Below is a review of important products and resources that we launched in the last year and new initiatives we will be working on in the upcoming months.

Last year NAQC launched a Medicaid Learning Community tosupport shared-learning and dissemination of proven-practices related to effective implementation of the new CMS guidelineallowing quitlines as an allowable administrative cost expenditure. We are continuing this much needed work this year and have added case studies, new webinar topics, and an online resource repository to address member needs. Developing cost-sharing partnerships with both the private and public health plan sectors can help maximize quitline services and strengthen quitline sustainability. NAQC’s work is focused on1) establishing a strong foundation of common knowledge among states, provinces and coalitions on how to advance tobacco coverage among public and private insurers, and 2) providing technical assistance to a number of states. A series of webinars, online resources, and technical assistance materials are available on the Public-Private Partnership Initiative page.
