JOIN HUD DIALOGUE ON SMOKE-FREE PUBLIC HOUSING

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has solicited public comments for HUD’s proposed rule to make the nation’s public housing properties smoke-free. The deadline for comments is January 19, 2016. NAQC plans to submit comments and will be sharing a draft of the comments with you later this week for your feedback.
As HUD’s deadline for public comments nears, they have planned a dialogue that will be hosted by the White House Office of Public Engagement on Wednesday, January 6, 2016. You are invited to participate by watching the livestream or by joining us in the Twitter chat hosted by Secretary Julián Castro and the U.S. Surgeon General, Dr. Vivek Murthy.
