CDC Awards Contract for National Quitline Data Warehouse Implementation Plan

The CDC announced today it has awarded the contract for the National Quitline Data Warehouse to Research Triangle Institute. The warehouse will provide data for the evaluation of the reach and effectiveness of this tobacco cessation intervention program. States will collect data from quitline callers and then provide the data to the CDC. Based in North Carolina, RTI International will obtain the expertise and services to provide a wide variety of programming and statistical services including data processing, data analysis, generation of datasets, statistical tables, and reports using state quitline data.
