Helping Smokers Quit webinar Nov. 9th
Monday, October 18, 2010
Posted by: Natalia Gromov
On November 9th, 2010, the American Lung Association will be releasing our third annual Helping Smokers Quit: State Cessation Coverage 2010 report. This report provides an overview of smoking cessation services and treatments offered in each state by Medicaid, Medicare, state employee plans, quitlines and private insurance. It is also a great resource to focus media and policymaker attention on cessation coverage policies. This year, we have an expanded section on quitlines, and will discuss federal health care reform. You can read last year’s report here.
You are invited to join the webinar on the release date. There will be a discussion about the findings and focus of this year’s report, and 2010 trends. Please share this invitation with anyone else you think would be interested.
