Medicaid-Public-Public Partnerships and Tobacco Cessation: Thinking Outside of the Medicaid Box

Wednesday, May 30, 2012
Posted by: Natalia Gromov
You are invited to join us on Wednesday, June 13 from 3:30-5PM ET for the next NAQC Seminar Series webinar.

The Tobacco Control Integration Project (TCIP) is a partnership between the Tobacco Prevention and Education Program (TPEP) in the Oregon Public Health Division and the Division's sister health and human service agencies. The goal of these partnerships is to combine what TPEP knows about tobacco control with what the other agencies know about their clients and work processes. TCIP integrates the two, developing and implementing policies and procedures that have a direct effect on the people served, mainly low-income Oregonians or those living with mental or physical disability. This presentation will focus on policy and procedural changes that have provided better access to cessation services to Oregonians with fewer resources.

We look forward to your participation in this important seminar!
