Medicaid Coverage
Last year NAQC launched a Medicaid Learning Community tosupport shared-learning and dissemination of proven-practices related to effective implementation of the new CMS guidelineallowing quitlines as an allowable administrative cost expenditure. We are continuing this much needed work this year and have added case studiesnew webinar topics, and an online resource repository to address member needs. For more information, please visit the Medicaid Coverage page.

Public-Private Partnerships
Developing cost-sharing partnerships with both the private and public health plan sectors can help maximize quitline services and strengthen quitline sustainability. NAQC’s work is focused on1) establishing a strong foundation of common knowledge among states, provinces and coalitions on how to advance tobacco coverage among public and private insurers, and 2) providing technical assistance to a number of states. A series of webinars, online resources, and technical assistance materials are available on the Public-Private Partnership Initiative page.
