Quitline Service Offering Models Issue Paper Review

Friday, April 13, 2012
Posted by: Natalia Gromov
Greetings NAQC Members!

It is with great pleasure that I deliver to you the first draft of,"Quitline Service Offering Models: A Review of the Evidence and Recommendations for Practice in Times of Limited Resources.”Now more than ever public entities responsible for funding quitlines are working to determine what service offerings (or combinations of service offerings) move them closer to reaching the stated goal/objective of their quitline in the most cost-efficient manner. With mounting evaluation and research data to guide decision-making on ways to invest limited funding for services most effectively, this paper aims to present these data in an easy-to-use format and make recommendations for most effectively using limited resources when determining service offering options.

As you may know, this is the seventh issue paper produced by NAQC as part of our ongoing Quality Improvement Initiative. As is the case with each issue paper, NAQC members are being asked to review and comment on the first draft by participating in oral and/or written comment processes.

To receive a copy of the draft paper and find out how you can provide comments, please contact Tamatha Thomas-Haase at
