An Advisory Committee to the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has announced a public meeting on September 23rd, from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. (EDT) to discuss strategic issues facing CDC, including a policy brief on health equity and social determinants of health; the director’s annual Health Disparity Report; and to brief individuals on the realignment of the CDC Office of Minority Health and Health Disparities.
