Important NAQC Quitline Map Updates

Dear Colleague,

 

We are excited to share significant updates to the most visited NAQC web resource - . Public health and healthcare professionals, researchers, and consumers regularly use the map to get up-to-date information about state quitlines and how to connect with quitline services. Additionally, NAQC uses the profile information for the annual survey, which helps streamline the survey and reduce burden on respondents.

 

Last month, we have asked dedicated profile managers to review your quitline profile for accuracy and make necessary updates. If you need assistance with making additional changes, please let us know at .

 

New Profile Fields and Reporting Capacity

General Profile Tab

Texting number field has been added.

You can now view all quitline funding sources.

You can now view information on available electronic medical records.

Services Offered Profile Tab

Phone counseling now includes: text to cell (two-way), text to cell (one-way), text to cell (two-way w/ counselor), text to cell (two-way automated).

Web-based services now include: webpages, forums, online courses, social media, AI, mobile app.

Cessation medications now include combination NRT.

Eligibility Profile Tab

You can now view information on eligibility criteria to receive combination therapy.

Protocols Profile Tab

This new section was developed for specialized protocols allowing to list all current protocols you are utilizing.

Cost-sharing Profile Tab

This new section was developed for cost-sharing partnerships with a fields for the main cost-sharing partnership contact and description of current partnerships.


Real-time Reports

Below are reports that you are able to run based on the current quitline map profile data.
