What was covered during this webinar?

This webinar on “Meaningful Use and the Technical Approach to eReferral for Quitlines” was the first in a series of five training webinars designed to help participants enhance their eReferral knowledge and capacity.  Funding for this series is provided by Pfizer Independent Grants for Learning & Change with support from Smoking Cessation Leadership Center.

Participants joined the webinar to learn: 

1.       How eReferral ties into Meaningful Use and other healthcare IT objectives

2.       Where else eReferral is important and how health systems should be implementing eReferral across their organization

3.       How eReferral workflows fit into current heath car operations and plans

Webinar Learning Objectives:

After participating in this webinar attendees were able to:

•  Articulate the value of eReferral capability to health systems and partners as it relates to quitlines and health care IT overall (MU)

• Understand the technical specifications for eReferral and how they will assist in connecting health systems to quitlines

• Be prepared for the next steps in connecting quitlines to health systems using eReferral
