Member Training Opportunities for TTSs

As a valued member benefit, NAQC is pleased to highlight our online, self‑paced courses for Tobacco Treatment Specialists (TTSs), available to current NAQC members. These courses deliver practical, clinically relevant training that supports meaningful client conversations and addresses critical gaps in care.

Each course is approved by the Council for Tobacco Treatment Training Programs (CTTTP) to award continuing education contact hours to tobacco treatment providers who successfully complete the program - a benefit available only to current NAQC members.

Grounded in real‑world practice, the courses are flexible and self‑paced, making it easy for busy TTS professionals to build these skills into their schedules, another way your NAQC membership continues to pay off throughout the year.

A Member‑Driven Education Agenda

NAQC’s education agenda is shaped by its members. These new offerings emerged from ongoing conversations with TTS providers seeking training that is practical, engaging, and closely aligned with the realities of tobacco treatment. As we plan future courses and webinars, we welcome your ideas on:
  • Topics that build on current TTS training

  • Emerging issues or populations you’d like more tools to support

  • Areas for deeper exploration, such as behavioral health, equity and access, chronic disease management, or innovative service models

Your input continues to shape NAQC’s educational portfolio and helps build a learning environment that reflects the needs and priorities of the TTS community.
