Funding and Sustainability
Quitline funding and sustainability continues to be a primary concern to NAQC members. This issue has been addressed in many resources and includes information about return on investment and quitline cost effectiveness often referred to as "making the case” for quitlines. Information about reimbursement or third-party support, forming public-private partnerships, working with Medicaid, planning for increased call volumes and resources to assist with advocacy efforts (legislative, community) are included.
