NAQC’s Quality Improvement Initiative has generated a wealth of resources to help quitlines with efforts to ensure the delivery of high quality cessation services. These resources include information about call center metrics (performance measurement), staff training, use of technologies, implementation of the minimal data set, evaluation, reach of quitlines, quit rates and issues related to credentialing and accreditation. Quitline service providers that responded to the information request are: the American Lung Association (ALA), ASHLine at U AZ (U AZ), Avera McKenna (Avera), Be Well Arkansas (Be Well), California Smokers Helpline at UCSD (UCSD), First Choice Services (FC), Information & Quality Healthcare (IQH), MaineHealth (Maine), National Jewish Health (NJH), Optum, and Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center (RP).
