new case study, UKanQuit - The
University of Kansas Hospital Patient Tobacco Cessation Program, shows how one
institution developed a model tobacco screening and intervention service for
patients, outlining 1) strategies for establishing and maintaining successful
hospital-based tobacco cessation services, including screening and
intervention, and 2) strategies to integrate counseling, pharmaceutical and
quitline services for tobacco cessation.
