Highlights from the
Board's July Meeting!
At its July 25thmeeting, the Board discussed and
took action on a host of important topics, including financial and fundraising
reports, the budget for fiscal year 2014, an update on the Future of Quitlines,
and progress toward NAQC's strategic goals. We also had the great
pleasure of reviewing the Board election results.
On behalf of the Board, I would like to congratulate the newly elected NAQC
Board members and to thank NAQC members who participated in this year's
election by putting forward names of stellar candidates and by casting your
votes and those of you who provided feedback on ways to improve the voting
process in the future!
In early August the Board also held a special meeting to elect the Officers for
the Board. We congratulate the new officers and look forward to working
together in the coming year!
