August Webinar - The Recent FDA-Approved NRT Label Changes: Implications for our Practice

On Wednesday, August 14 from 12:30-2:00 PM ET NAQC will host the webinar,The Recent FDA-Approved NRT Label Changes: Implications for our Practice.

The final webinar in NAQC’s 2012/2013 webinar series will focus on the recent FDA-approved label changes for NRT and the implications for cessation and quitline practice. After an introduction and background on the decision to change the labels and a presentation highlighting the specific label changes by GSK, Inc. (as the holder of the MDA for NRT), we will be joined by a 3-person panel to discuss implications for cessation in general and quitlines in particular. Dr. Lowell Dale will discuss his views on the implications of this decision from a physician/healthcare delivery perspective; Dr. Megan Piper will provide her perspective on implications for cessation among priority populations; and Ken Wassum will present implications on quitline services and protocols.
