Tobacco Free Toolkit for Healthcare Providers
Healthcare providers are on the front lines of tobacco
cessation, and it is vital that providers understand why people use tobacco and
how to assist in healthy lifestyle changes for those they serve. This toolkit
contains education on skills for engaging individuals in tobacco cessation
discussions, efficient methods for assessing people’s readiness to quit, and
information and research on treatments.
