On Wednesday,
December 18 from 12:30-2:00 PM ET NAQC will host a webinar
titled,E-Cigarette
Use: What We Know, What We Don’t and What it Means for Quitlines.
Much remains unclear when it comes to e-cigarettes, those who use
them and how our cessation practices should change to reflect their use. This
first webinar in NAQC’s 2013/2014 annual series will begin with an
introduction that sets e-cigarettes squarely within the context of cessation.
Presenters will provide a review of the scientific evidence on e-cigarettes
with a focus on the potential harms of using the product and the potential
benefits (i.e., as a method for quitting and preventing relapse), and engage
NAQC members in a discussion to identify practice-related questions that the
quitline community needs answered.
Be sure to join us for a rich presentation and lively discussion! Register here!
