Greetings!
Two new resources on e-cigarettes have been published today.
FIRST, the journal Tobacco Control published an online supplement on
e-cigarettes. The 10 articles seem to review most if not all of the literature
that has been published on e-cigarettes. You may access the table of contents
and abstracts using the link below.
May 2014, Volume 23,
suppl 2
FDA E-Cigarettes: Impact
on Individual and Population Health
"FDA Center for Tobacco Products scientists have been reviewing the available
literature to determine the state of e-cigarette knowledge and have identified
research areas that could be addressed. This supplement provides a summary of
the current knowledge and research gaps pertaining to e-cigarettes with regards
to product design, chemistry and toxicology of e-liquid and aerosol
constituents, human factor-based risk factors, abuse liability, clinical
pharmacology and human health effects, pediatric issues, and environmental
issues.”
