GRAND 2016 - open for applications

We are pleased to announce the opening of the application period for the Global Research Awards for Nicotine Dependence (GRAND) 2016. Please visit  http://www.grandawardsprogram.org/

At least 5 grants of USD $ between 50,000 and 200,000 for a total of 1 M will be awarded in 2016, open to researchers worldwide. The continuation of the program through 2016 was announced at the SRNT Annual Conference in Chicago. Please visit the GRAND website for details about the scope of the program in 2016, application guideline and previous awards. The deadline for applications is July 12, 2016.  

An independent expert panel of reviewers, led by Karl Fagerstrom and John Hughes will meet in December 2016 to evaluate and select the best proposals.

Over the past 8 years, the GRAND program has received  440 grant applications and has awarded 56 grants to researchers worldwide.
