APPEAL is pleased to announce The ASPIRE (ASian Americans, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders network to Reach Equity in tobacco control and cancer) Network grant through the support of Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This initiative will provide resources for organizations to promote tobacco control and cancer prevention work in the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) communities through direct services, advocacy, leadership, and/or policy change (without lobbying).
Qualified applicants must: 1) be experienced in grassroots community organizing in the AANHPI communities, and 2) have 501(c)3 non-profit status. Previous experience with tobacco and cancer related work is not necessary. Awardees will qualify to receive up to $15,000 per year which can be renewed for up to 2 years.
