Dear Colleagues,
Please join us NAQC for a 90-minute webinar on March 11th from 3:00 – 4:30 PM ET, titled Increasing Access to Tobacco Cessation Services for PHA Residents by Establishing Referral Systems between Quitlines and CHCs. The webinar is open to NAQC members and non-members. Please register to reserve your spot today.
During the webinar, participants will learn how participation in the Smoke-Free Public Housing: Helping Smoker’s Quit project facilitated collaborations between state quitlines and Community Health Centers (CHCs) and about the establishment of referral programs to better connect PHA residents to cessation services provided by quitlines. Topics covered during the webinar include:
- An overview of the Smoke Free Public Housing: Helping Smokers Quit Project (SFPH:HSQ) and outcomes achieved to date.
- The importance of establishing referral systems between Community Health Centers (CHCs) and quitlines and examples from 2 state quitlines that participated in the SFOH:HSQ.
- Resources available and opportunities for state quitlines to collaborate with CHCs to implement referral systems.
Sincerely,
NAQC Staff
