Staff Changes at NAQC – Welcome New Manager of Research and Evaluation

Dear Colleagues:

I am pleased to announce that NAQC has hired a manager of research and evaluation, Christine Clements Stein, PhD, MPH (cstein@naquitline.org; 800-398-5489 ext. 708).Please join me in welcoming Christine to NAQC!

Dr. Stein oversees and manages evaluation and research program efforts, including the annual survey of quitlines and Minimal Data Set. Christine has over 20 years’ experience using participatory approaches to planning, managing, and evaluating public health and social programs that aim to improve the wellbeing of individuals, families, and communities. She has worked with diverse stakeholders at a variety of organizations, including federal, state and county governments; indigenous communities; foundations; schools; and non-profit community-based organizations. Christine recently completed a four-year project as a senior evaluation consultant to an adolescent health project in Nebraska funded by a major foundation, and prior to that worked as a research and evaluation project director at government agencies in Massachusetts and then Arizona. Christine holds a bachelor's degree in health sciences from Northeastern University, a master's in public health from Boston University, and a doctorate in social policy from Brandeis University.
