Health Canada has confirmed a ban on advertising vaping products wherever they can be seen or heard by youth - https://www.canada.ca/en/health-canada/news/2020/07/health-canada-confirms-ban-of-advertising-for-vaping-products-wherever-they-can-be-seen-or-heard-by-youth.html

In addition, Vaping Products Labelling and Packaging Regulations require that a vaping product containing nicotine display a nicotine concentration statement.  This statement must follow the specified format of “Nicotine – xx mg/mL”.  In most cases, this statement is required to be displayed on the main display panel of the product or the package.  For small products or products that are not packaged, the information may be displayed on a tag.

Although the regulations do not specify a method for the determination of nicotine concentration, the information displayed must not be false or misleading. Health Canada has developed two laboratory methods that can measure nicotine content across the full spectrum of nicotine concentrations in vaping products currently on the Canadian market.  These methods are available to the vaping industry upon request.
The Product Safety Chemistry methods, which includes the nicotine methods, are listed here: https://www.canada.ca/en/health-canada/services/consumer-product-safety/product-safety-testing/chemistry-methods.html. The methods can be obtained on request by emailing CPS-SPC@hc-sc.gc.ca.
