| New Case Study - Leveraging the 6|18 Initiative to Support Public Private (Cost-Sharing) Partnerships Dear Colleagues:
We are pleased to announce a release of a new case study, Leveraging the 6|18 Initiative to Support Public Private (Cost-Sharing) Partnerships. The purpose of this case study is to explore and briefly describe how four states involved in NAQC’s Public Private (cost-sharing) Partnership Initiative (Indiana, Missouri, New Hampshire, and North Carolina) leveraged their participation in CDC’s 6|18 Initiative to advance Medicaid partnership goals. The four states agreed that 6|18 set the tone for intentional, collaborative work. Although states had some relationships in place prior to 6|18, the Initiative served as a catalyst, pushing progress forward faster than would have occurred otherwise and deepening relationships to the next level to include leadership as well. We hope you will find this case study useful in identifying opportunities within your state tobacco control program and applying some of the lessons learned from the participating states. Warm regards,
