| Learning Community Webinar on February 19: Technology-Mediated Services Dear Colleagues! Join us on February 19, 2021 from 10:00 – 1:00 PST as the NAQC Advisory Council gathers to begin learning more about key technologies and how they can help increase quitline reach, enrollment, engagement. This is the first of multiple meetings that will help inform recommendations to improve quitline practice. Youare welcome to join us in listen-only mode and will have opportunities to share your thoughts and provide input following the meeting. We will hear insights from expert panelists on topics such as technology preferences and behaviors, texting capabilities for programmatic and complementary purposes, and web-based interventions including chat and web enrollment. We encourage participants to review the Practice Brief prior to participating. The brief contains background information based on an extensive literature review, the Surgeon General’s report and interviews with Service Providers. Additional background information will be provided to registrants.
Registrationis requested for members who would like to participate. The Advisory Council will serve as the forum for convening the Learning Community, and the quitline community will be invited to submit comments, questions and feedback throughout the process. Comments can be submitted to Randi Lachter at rlachter@naquitline.org.
