Ensuring Low-Income Populations with Cancer and Other Chronic Diseases Are
Prioritized for COVID-19 Vaccinations.

Health Network (SMHN) Joint Statement: Ensuring Low-Income Populations with
Cancer and Other Chronic Diseases Are Prioritized for COVID-19 Vaccinations guided by our SMHN
Leadership Council (serving in a National Advisory role). As a national
network, CDC understands the significance of this moment. And hopes to ensure
that vulnerable populations such as: low-income populations nationwide remain
as a national priority during this COVID-19 pandemic. CDC welcomes your
organization, partners, stakeholders (national, state, county, community) and
decision-makers to use this multi-purpose document. Everyone is encouraged to
share this official document containing recommendations. This document can be
used to support strategic planning and implementation efforts, as well as
educational activities, health communication plans and partnerships throughout
this COVID-19 Vaccination period and beyond.
