| Webinar on September 22 -Strategies to Improve the Accuracy of Quit Rates Dear Colleague, Join us for the upcoming webinar, Strategies to Improve the Accuracy of Quit Rates. Over the past decade, the average response rate and sample size used by state quitlines to calculate quit rates have decreased, raising concerns about the accuracy of reported quit rates. This webinar will highlight the NAQC standard for calculating quit rates and share ideas for increasing sample size and response rates. NAQC will also present proposed action for improving calculations of the average national quit rate. The webinar will conclude with an opportunity for dialogue about quit rate calculations and NAQC’s proposed action. In preparation for the webinar, please review the Quit Rate Discussion Paper.
