Recommended Best and Promising Practices on Technology-Mediated Services for Quitlines.
We are excited to release the Learning Community Series Report, Recommended Best and Promising Practices on Technology-Mediated Services for Quitlines. This report contains final recommendations for Quitlines on technology-mediated services for Text, Web and Apps that are effective for improving reach, engagement, and outcomes.  Two of the recommendations involve offering at least one or more tailored and/or interactive texting and Web-based services as standalone interventions or adjuncts to other smoking cessation interventions by June 30th, 2022.  The remaining two recommendations involve offering at least one or more tailored and/or interactive texting and Web-based services for the purpose of improving outreach, enrollment, and/or engagement by June 30, 2023. An overwhelming majority of the Quitline community provided feedback in agreement with the recommendations and found them to be reasonable within the proposed timelines. Please contact Laurie at LKrupski@naquitline.org. if you have any associated questions. We look forward to working with you to move these recommendations forward.
