Project ENGAGE is offering a FREE one-hour online accredited course in honor of Lung Cancer Awareness Month. Created in part by NAQC, this special course is designed to empower you with the knowledge and strategies needed to effectively educate your clients about lung cancer screening.

Why Lung Cancer Screening Matters: Lung cancer screening has the potential to save 12,000 lives in the U.S. each year, yet a very low proportion of eligible individuals receive the procedure. As a TTS, your role in helping people quit smoking aligns perfectly with the mission of educating about lung cancer screening.

Make a Difference: Project ENGAGE can help quitline service providers train coaches to deliver LCS education. This course is a supplement to the Project CONNECT patient decision aid resource offered by half of state quitlines.

Become part of the solution, by registering for Conversations that Save Lives: How Tobacco Treatment Specialists can Engage Clients in a Discussion about Lung Cancer Screening.

This course was funded through a Patient- Centered Outcomes Research Institute® (PCORI®) Eugene Washington PCORI Engagement Award (EADI-26839).
