As a membership organization, NAQC is dedicated to ensuring all stakeholders are represented in the work we do and that all members benefit from participating in the consortium. Never has this been more true than today, as quitlines navigate an evolving landscape in commercial tobacco products on the market, a rapid shift in delivery of services using technology, and changes in when and where people receive public health messages about the importance of accessing treatment for cessation.

For the first time in a decade, the Board of Directors has established a committee to review membership categories, eligibility criteria, dues levels, and benefits, and make recommendation for necessary updates. The committee has representation from funders, service providers, and national organizations who are voting members of NAQC.

The committee is seeking comments from members on the gaps in benefits for members, whether existing NAQC members fully represent the community of quitline stakeholders, and financial considerations of the member dues structure. We invite you to submit your comments by November 30, 2024 to aid the committee in its work.
