Dear NAQC Community,
As we look ahead to 2025, the North American Quitline Consortium (NAQC) remains steadfast in its mission to maximize access, use, and effectiveness of quitlines. NAQC works to equip our members with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and achieve these goals. Before we start the new year, we would like to acknowledge what we have accomplished together in 2024. We thank our major funder, CDC, for another five-year funding award which is focused on supporting quitline programs implementation of best practices around reach, quality and sustainability. To best guide and prioritize our work, we have reached out to all organizational members in the last quarter of 2024 to hear about your successes, challenges, and gain input on how NAQC can assist. We look forward to continuing these conversations in the coming year! We would like to thank all of you for your commitment and active participation in the consortium, the Advisory Council (we are excited to welcome seven new members this year) which is instrumental in supporting our strategic goals and program objectives, and the Board of Directors who is working on organizational advancement and sustainability.
