Highlighting the Essential Role of Quitlines

Over the past month, NAQC has shared information about the impact of HHS restructuring and the elimination of the Office on Smoking and Health. While we don’t yet know the full impact of these changes, NAQC provided information about what we do know and what we, at NAQC, are monitoring in the short term.

The Value of Quitlines: Discussion Points to assist Quitline administrators in informing stakeholders, partners, and decision-makers about the vital role quitlines play in promoting commercial tobacco cessation. 
Contingency Planning: Summary of Resources and Best Practices to guide decision making that ensures quitlines remain a cornerstone of public health, providing crucial support and treatment in times of uncertainty.
