NAQC’s Top Resources in 2025

Dear NAQC Community,

As we look ahead to 2026, the North American Quitline Consortium (NAQC) remains steadfast in its mission to maximize the access, use, and effectiveness of quitlines. In a time of federal funding uncertainties, NAQC is committed to helping members strengthen quitline programs through a focus on sustainability and partnerships that foster a strong and resilient consortium.

Throughout 2025, NAQC worked to equip our members with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to navigate a rapidly changing environment—including the December 4 town hall webinar, which focused on future directions and thelaunch of our new Strategic Plan 2030. As we step into the new year, we want to reflect on all we’ve accomplished together and emphasize how essential your continued engagement is to our collective success.

We extend our gratitude to our major funder, CDC, for awarding another year of support focused on advancing competency-based quitline best practices around reach, quality, and sustainability. At the same time, we recognize the continuing uncertainty of long-term federal funding, reinforcing the importance of NAQC’s efforts to build diverse partnerships and secure stable pathways for the future of our programs.

This past year, we reached out to organizational members to better understand your successes, challenges, and priorities, ensuring that NAQC’s work is guided by your input. We will continue these conversations in 2026, including through our annual meeting to be held virtually on April 15–16, 2026, as we sharpen our collective focus on sustainability, collaboration, and innovation.

We are deeply grateful for your active participation in NAQC. It is your commitment as members of this consortium, as advisors on the Council, and as leaders on the Board of Directors that makes us strong. As we often say, NAQC is only as strong as the support and engagement of its members, and together we create the foundation that sustains quitline services for the future.

In looking back at the accomplishments from 2025, below we include a curated list of essential resources, website pages, and features from the past year. These tools are designed to aid you in your work, keep you up to date on developments in our field, and deepen your connection with NAQC.
