Thank you to those who participated inthis month's seminar, Medicaid:
Learning More About Infrastructure, Lingo and Coverage and Why it
Matters. For those of you who did not a summary and
recording of the presentations, including details from the Q&A session, are
now available for download on the seminar series page.
During this
90-minute webinar, a policy analyst from the Kaiser Commission on Medicaid and
the Uninsured shared an advanced primer on Medicaid, as well as what is changing
due to healthcare reform laws (what is required now, what will be required later
and the dates for implementation). In addition to the federal-level Medicaid
discussion, this seminar highlighted the important questions to ask state
Medicaid partners in order to ensure a clear understanding of infrastructure and
coverage at the state level. One state shared their journey from
information-gathering meetings with Medicaid to submitting a successful cost
allocation plan.
We appreciate your participation in this important
seminar and hope that you will join us in the future!
