CDC's Division of Adolescent and School Health (DASH) is releasing the 2011 national, state, and local Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) results, including tobacco use data, via a telebriefing at 12:00 p.m. (EDT) today. Howell Wechsler, division director of DASH, will present results highlighting dramatic improvements in motor vehicle-related health behaviors among teens.
Today's release provides another opportunity for you and your tobacco control partners to use the tools and products released in conjunction with the 2012 Surgeon General's Report, Preventing Tobacco Use Among Youth and Young Adults.
Please see today's call-in details below. Here are copies of CDC's press release, the YRBS report, and a March 8th email detailing the 2012 Surgeon General's report and related products and resources. For more information about YRBS, visit www.cdc.gov/healthyyouth.
