This
position is responsible for providing leadership in both long-range vision and
day to day operations and activities for the Tobacco Prevention & Control Program. This includes strategic planning development
and evaluation, while ensuring successful program outcomes in accordance with tobacco
tax funding, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) cooperative agreements and
the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) grant.
This position monitors, manages and leads the reporting of all related
grants and/or contracts; guides strategic planning, technical assistance,
training, health communications and surveillance efforts with state/local
programs, and other partners; works with program staff to identify
opportunities for integrations and collaboration; develops and maintains
critical relationships with internal and external partners; . supervises
program staff, provides timely administrative direction and guidance; and ensures
