Dear NAQC Colleagues,

NAQC would like to update you on CDC’s upcoming media campaign! CDC will begin airing it Tips From Former Smokers (Tips) campaign on February 3rd. The campaign will run for 9 weeks.
The campaign includes two new ads featuring Terrie Hall, who participated in the previous Tips campaigns. You can see these ads today at

The new ads were filmed a few days before Terrie passed away from cancer at age 53 in the fall of 2013. More than anything, Terrie wanted to help smokers quit so they could avoid the pain and suffering that she experienced. She thought these powerful ads could provide additional motivation to smokers looking to quit. CDC thinks these ads will do just that.

Additional Information from CDC about the February Ad Buy
