We would like to inform you of an upcoming webinar on Thursday, April 16 at 3 pm ET hosted by ASH (Action on Smoking & Health) titled “Tobacco Cessation, Production, and Sales in Light of COVID-19”.
Join ASH Deputy Director for Policy, Chris Bostic and guest speaker Linda Bailey, President and CEO of the North American Quitline Consortium, as they examine the challenges of quitting in quarantine and cessation assistance during the COVID-19 pandemic. They will cover:
- Nicotine addiction and the responsibility of governments to protect citzens and provide cessation assistance;
- The challenges and opportunities for individual smokers to quit; and
- The impact of millions of smokers who normally would not smoke around their families but are now stuck at home.
