MaineHealth Center for Tobacco Independence’s Annual Tobacco Treatment and
Prevention Conference is
being hostedvirtually
and at no cost in 2021 and will feature nationally recognized speakers and
local experts to discuss a wide array of tobacco treatment and prevention
topics. Katie Mason,
NAQC’s Research and Evaluation
Manager, will be presenting important findings on impact of COVID-19
on quitlines. Focused on “Looking to the Future: Emerging Landscape in Tobacco
Treatment, Prevention & Control,” the June 7-9, 2021 event will have
sessions on treatment approaches, addressing youth vaping, health equity, and
the Maine QuitLink.
