NCI Job Opening: Chief of Tobacco Control Research Branch.
NCI is currently mounting a national search for a new Chief of the Tobacco Control Research Branch (TCRB). Dr. Michele Bloch has done an outstanding job as TCRB Chief for several years and will be retiring in 2022. This is a major leadership position in tobacco control; the branch oversees a substantial grants portfolio and several high impact projects (e.g., Tobacco control monograph series, smokefree.gov, Tobacco Use Supplement to the Current Population Survey) and collaborates extensively throughout NIH and with other agencies such as FDA and CDC.
