Dr.
Greg Connolly and the Center for Global Tobacco Control invite you to attend an
exciting conference to be held at Harvard School of Public Health on June 22
entitled: The Family
Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act: Regulatory Science and the Tobacco
Industry. We will honor Senator Ted Kennedy at this event
for his tireless efforts in tobacco control. The purpose of the conference is to
assess progress made on the implementation of the law over the past two years
and to explore how the nation’s tobacco control community can better dialogue
with the FDA on matters of regulatory science and the law. In addition, we will
identify our regulatory science needs to address nicotine in tobacco products as
set forth in Section 917 of the law. Please note that
we are also webcasting this event for those who are unable to attend in
person. Further information about the
meeting (including the program, flyer, and the webcast link) is available
at: http://www.hsph.harvard.edu/research/tobacco-control-research/media-and-events
For those who wish to attend, please
send your RSVPs to: mbertic@hsph.harvard.edu
