Please join the American Lung Association for a webcast on Medicaid Coverage of Pediatric Tobacco Cessation Treatment. This webcast is accompanying our upcoming issue brief on the same topic, which will be released this summer. Discussion will include what cessation treatments state Medicaid programs cover for youth, strategies to address challenges to that coverage, lessons learned from states and what information is needed to address gaps in coverage. The webcast will include a Michigan-based practicing pediatrician, the Vermont tobacco control program and the North Dakota Medicaid Pharmacy Department sharing their challenges related to coverage, as well as lessons learned for states that are working on this issue.
