Tobacco Treatment Specialist Workshops Continue at Roswell Park (October 14-18, 2024 and May 12-16,

Scholarships for Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center's (Roswell Park) Tobacco Dependence Treatment Specialist (TTS) certification program are available to all levels of healthcare professionals. Roswell Park’s TTS program is fully accredited by the Council for Tobacco Treatment Training Programs and provides effective, evidence-based treatment for tobacco dependence across a range of populations.
 
The TTS certification program will be offered in-person in Buffalo, N.Y., through a five-day, evidence-based workshop on October 14-18, 2024, or May 12-16, 2025, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily. The workshop fee includes all training and course materials as well as breakfast, lunch, beverages, and snacks each day of training. All health professionals who interact with individuals who use tobacco can benefit from this training, including doctors, nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, and health educators.
