University of Colorado Faculty Position - Assistant Professor

The Behavioral Health and Wellness Program at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is hiring a doctoral level Assistant Professor to further the program’s whole health and tobacco use treatment training and research. This position will be responsible for both training, consultation, and evaluation/research. Training and technical assistance will be provided virtually or in-person either locally or nationally. This position will assist in developing new evidence-based curricula and community technical assistance resources as needed. They will be a core member of both the clinical and research/evaluation teams assisting in developing and implementing clinical guidance and evaluating the effectiveness of health systems change initiatives. Clinically, this position will have the ability to provide counseling and train others in counseling strategies. Additionally, the position will assist in research activities such as conceptualizing and developing grant proposals, preparing documents and proposals for Colorado Multiple Institutional Review Board (COMIRB), managing projects, evaluating new wellness curricula, conducting literature searches and reviews, writing and editing manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed outlets along with other products and resources, preparing presentations and webinars, and developing research surveys, questionnaires, and assessments. This position will also assist in collecting, managing, analyzing, and reporting data.
