Join with other tobacco treatment, prevention, and policy stakeholders at the Maine Tobacco Treatment and Prevention Conference. This year’s conference on The Changing Landscape of Commercial Tobacco and Nicotine Use: Insights for Tobacco Prevention, Policy, and Treatment will be held virtually via Zoom on June 11, 2025 with an optional post-conference workshop held on June 12, 2025. Registration is now open for the 2025 Conference. The event will feature Dr. Elizabeth Hair, a Senior Vice President in the Schroeder Institute at Truth Initiative, as keynote speaker. Conference sessions will include nationally recognized speakers and local experts discussing a wide array of tobacco treatment and prevention topics, including addressing co-use of tobacco and other substances, optimizing tobacco treatment referrals, engaging adolescents in tobacco and control, as well as addressing tobacco use in recovery centers. An optional post-conference workshop on June 12, 2025, designed for those who are currently providing or planning to provide treatment and pursuing Tobacco Treatment Specialist Certification, "Tobacco Treatment Specialist Skill Building,” will be presented by Dr. Jonathan Foulds.
