June 22 Deadline for Public Comment Opportunity: CDC Data Collections

CDC currently has pending requests with the Office of Management and Budget for approval to:

1. continue collecting National Quitline Data Warehouse information from states and other partners to better support cessation services, and
2. continue collecting data to evaluate the reach of the Tips From Former Smokers® campaign.

Public comments on these requests can be submitted until June 22, 2026. Feedback describing how these data support tobacco control programs and partner organizations can help underscore the historical importance of CDC’s cessation‑related activities.
