The goal of the Tobacco
Regulation Awareness, Communication, and Education Program is to educate
Americans about the risks of tobacco products. It seeks to increase capacity at
the community level in the areas of health communication and education that
address federal tobacco regulations and the public health goals of the Tobacco
Control Act. The Program will help increase knowledge and encourage long term
behavior change which will contribute to reductions in the morbidity and
mortality associated with tobacco use in the U.S.
