Description
Partnerships between tobacco control programs and
healthcare delivery facilities will be featured. Presenters from Sanford Health
in North Dakota and LSU Health New Orleans in Louisianawill describe how they
have implemented systems to address tobacco use in public hospitals and in rural
clinics. Facilitators and barriers to implementation will be addressed.
Collaborative staff will facilitate a discussion of provider response to CMS
Meaningful Use and Joint Commission tobacco measures.
Registration
Registration is open to all organizations and individuals
with an interest in integrating tobacco interventions in healthcare and their
electronic medical record systems, including state and territorial tobacco
control programs and networks, and their partners. We anticipate high demand, so
